Anna Zeide is a PhD candidate in the History of Science and the
Department of Medical History and Bioethics and a graduate student affiliate of the
Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE). In addition, she is an excellent cook who is deeply interested in the politics, ethics, emotion, and eating of food! She has a wonderful
